Flickr Favs

August 15, 2010

Gosh, I've been busy busy this weekend. Yesterday we all went to the Philadelphia Zoo via the train and a taxi cab so I didn't get a chance to post any flickrs. Today I've also been busy working on a project so I haven't really gotten to my computer until just now. But I see that a couple more of you have posted some great Frock by Fridays. And even more of you have posted some lovely sewing projects of your own. I want to post the FBFs but I will also be posting another Flickr Fav during the week so that I can feature of the other great ideas I've seen.

I love Su Sews So-So's belt she used with her red and black frock (above). It looks so polished. Hermoine J. Schwartz also made this cute neutral frock. Very soft and summery paired with yellow beads.
When She Was Good made this fabulous dress in Moda print. I REALLY love that color! Sewing Roots used a lovely, gauzy plum colored fabric that flows beautifully. And Butter Wouldn't Melt made this cute checked frock. I loved reading about the 'things she learned' while sewing. It takes me back to the first few pieces I sewed.

Thanks for including my photo. I really like the Moda fabric with this simple cut dress. Such a good idea! =]
