Since I was a little girl, I've always wanted a big old fashioned carved bed with heavy velvet curtains. Very much like I imagine from old English stories like The Secret Garden. This is a nice example of an alternative for modern living.
A great idea for a studio apartment
It works great in this room. I would love it, it would give a feeling of privacy and coziness in the bed we don't normally have.
I LOVE the colors in this room!! I think the curtains are fun but not for me.
I would love to have my bed wrapped like that. Sadly my room is way too small! You would open the door and bump into a curtain!

This would have been great when I lived in PA. The walls were so cold in the winter that I nailed quilts on the wall by my bed!
Love the colors and the curtains! But I live in the Philippines where it is hot, dusty and dirty and so I need ventilation and I couldn't face having to wash all that fabric every month!
