I've been such a busy woman lately. So when I started this project with my Silhouette I was so pleasantly surprised at how little effort and time this took out of my day! I kind of just decided to do it on a whim and before I knew it, I was done!

Molly has started a swim class and Lily will be soon to follow once school is out for the summer. I wanted them to have something that they could fill themselves to get ready for each class because there's few things I hate more than rushing at the last minute.
So I found these beach totes at the dollar store. THAT'S RIGHT! The dollar store. I bought them for $1 a piece in three varying shades.
The process was SO simple!
All I did was use the Silhouette's heat transfer material and my computer attached to the Silhouette Machine. I used my current favorite font "Dyspepsia" (which I had available in my font library and therefore available in my Silhouette software) and created 300 pt personalized monograms for each of my daughters.
Cut out extraneous material.
Peel away from design.
Position plastic on bag.
Cover with muslin (or any kind of material) and iron on hottest setting.
Peel away plastic and done!
If you'd like to make easy monogrammed goodies like this in just a matter of 20 minutes think about getting the Silhouette. Seriously, the best DIY machine EVAH!
If you would like to purchase one NOW. Silhouette is also offering Grosgrain readers an amazing deal!
Be sure to use Promo Code: GGF to receive discount!!!!!!!
This promo will last until May 25th but no later so don't wait!
For those of you who already have a Silhouette, you can also is offering 25% off of all heat transfer material.

These are great! What font did you use?
great idea! I just started following your blog and am really enjoying it. Where is the pattern from for the sweet dress in the pictures if you don't mind my asking?
What an incredible bargain those bags were! Can you tell me specifically which $1 store you got them at - Dollar General, Family Dollar, or another? My twins' birthday is coming up and I would love to do something like this as the party favor!
