Since moving to the new house some things have taken priority over others. The kids rooms have definitely played second fiddle to other more prominent rooms but the bare walls were starting to get to me.
So while making a trip to Hobby Lobby last week for Craft Night materials I happened upon this cheap 12x12 paper art in the patterned paper isle. The ones with gold in them were $1.99 but obviously still very affordable.
Square frames would have been best but I had these old IKEA Reslig frames lying around that used to be in our old kitchen. I do plan on decorating their room with a theme down the road but for now these were a great affordable way to make the room feel more homey. These aluminum $7.99 GLADSAX Ikea frames would be perfect for the 12x12 pics. Would look even if you sprayed them gold to match.
The older girls were actually pretty jealous. If you have a tween in your life and a few extra frames lying around these are a great way to spruce up a bare space.
