Upcycled Onsie Cardigan

June 28, 2013

Oh my gosh! What a brilliant little idea. An upcycled onsie cardigan. You can buy them from HaddonCo. Or, if you know your way around a sewing machine, you could try making them yourself. It looks like you could cut down the middle of a onsie. Also, cut the collar in a V-Shape. Then wrap the raw edges in white soft knit fabric. Finally add buttons and buttonholes on the front. I've never seen anything like this in stores. It's pretty hip. If you made or bought one for a baby shower I think you'd have the most unique gift there! Also, great for baby boys which are so hard to find cute stuff for!

This is adorable. I have a new nephew on the way and this would be a perfect gift!
