I love this variegating scalloped fabric. This was originally sold from Garnet Hill but I think it's now out of stock. But you could DIY a similar version for probably way less than you could have bought it for.
And if you cut your scallops on the bias you could let them fray a little and not have to sew a backing and turn right side out.
Or you could just sew a curved line around the single layer of scallop to keep from fraying even more. You could probably finish this project in a day.
I think this would look cute in a kids room.
