No post today

November 19, 2010

I'm so sorry guys. My day got kind of sidetracked when my car broke down in the Home Depot parking lot:( And of all things I forgot my phone, which I NEVER do.

I had to get it towed to my dad who fortunately says it's an easy fix. Unfortunately it has taken up my day and now I have no post. Please forgive me. I'll have something up tomorrow.

In the meantime please enjoy this timely car pillow tutorial from Noodleheads:)

So cute!

Please don't ever feel like you have to apologize. You don't.

You are amazing, and we love you.

Carry on. We'll be here.

Gotta love the phone. When my car died and I was stuck with four hungry kids my phone froze and would not make outgoing calls. Life happens. Have a great weekend.

Oh no! Sorry to hear you had car troubles ruin your day. And post. Hopefully your dad will be able to fix the problem for you. BTW, what were you getting at Home Depot? Any fun projects up ahead? :)

Aw sorry to hear that! Glad it will be an easy fix though :) Re no post today, I personally think when something becomes a 'must' it's no longer fun. So take all the time you need, we're not going anywhere :)

That always makes for an exciting Friday! :/ No need to apologize--life happens and sometimes blogging has to take the back seat. ;)

Popbabe7,
Oh yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking!

I was trying to make it to AC Moore to buy Lily an American Girl Doll look alike but about a mile from the store I heard a rattling then the power steering stopped completely which obviously freaked me out, but I was still going to at least try and make it to AC Moore and deal with it there because we were so close but then I noticed that the car was overheating so I was forced to park at Home Depot and call Triple A there.

My dad and the Triple A mechanic both said it was the serpentine belt. He pulled it out for me to see and it was all in tatters. Apparently, it controls the power steering AND alternator which controls the engine temperature. So it all made perfect sense.

I'm just glad my dad knows how to fix these things free of charge and I don't have to rely on a dishonest garage.

Thanks!
