For one reason or another I missed my flickr favs post last week. It was mostly to do with my sinus infection. Gug. I HATE being sick. Brian said he thinks we should all buy Nettie Pots and pour them all over our faces. But today seemed like a great day for a flickr post.
I had originally intended to post a new grosgrain giveaway today but the weather looks really horrid. It's all grey and windy and wet. Sooo, look for one next week, depending on what the weather has in store.
In the meantime, sit back and enjoy some eye candy from Grosgrain's favorite flicks of this week!
Take a look at the above photo. Aren't babies ADORABLE! No wonder everybody loves them! And take a look at the adorable shirt made by flickr user kraftykim. If you like it too, head on over to her etsy shop!
And check out this refashioned tee to the right made by flickr user brown paper packages.
Check out her blog here. Love her header:)
And lastly, I had to include this cutie showing off her lazy days skirt made by flickr user sewretrochic.
For instructions on how to make your own go here
Zura whipped up two of these in less than 40 minutes!
She loves the simplicity and clever use of fabric selvedges and ribbons and highly recommends it for beginners or if you need a quick sewing fix.
She used plain slubby cottons in soft pistacchio green for Aisha, her other daughter (not pictured) and soft taupe for Hanan (to left).
And now that I have my sewing fix for today we're off to the OB to find out the sex of the baby. I've been anticipating this all week. Will I be sewing some new boy clothes? Really, I just hope everything is okay. I'm so nervous....
