Saw this on Martha Stewart and thought it would make a great gift idea! Monogrammed ties. I have an embroidery machine so it would be easy for me but you could hand stitch it too. ALSO, here's a free pattern for a necktie on PurlBee. I'd love to try it and make a couple sets of three coordinating ties (solid, patterned, solid) for guys I have to get gifts for this year.
