Remember this post a while back. I think I have a way to recreate it. Though not quite practical. They're basically crushed sequins that are sewn close together. The sequins below are 1/2"! And $5 for 55. When they're crushed or folded and sewn together they give a nice 'encrusted' look. Now, the hard part...finding enough patience to sew on a couple hundred sequins. Would love to find some premanufactured crushed sequin material!

I don't know...I think these could be sewn by machine set to stitch buttonholes. Just test first and count on breaking some needles along the way. Will be much, much faster.
