It should be five pieces of 3" and disregard the 2 1/4. I think I know why I did that but it's a long boring explanation.

Sorry about that.Grosgrainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01708175838803992833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616157712190875587.post-36315469840263522192012-08-01T21:30:24.016-04:002012-08-01T21:30:24.016-04:00Some help needed here: I'm doing the ribbon cu...Some help needed here: I'm doing the ribbon cutting and just took the measurements from the list at top. But going through the instructions it looks like you need % pieces of 3" green ribbon? And what do you do with the 2 1/4" inch length of the same color? I'm worried I'm missing a step somewhere!Caryn Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10963011530913848916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616157712190875587.post-77316568082105679112012-07-31T22:50:16.197-04:002012-07-31T22:50:16.197-04:00@Caryn SSorry about that Caryn. I didn't give the length before curling because I figured if you were using a thicker or thinner stick it would effect the outcome length. But yes you're right, it's 7" AFTER it's curled. I'll add the 'after' in my next tut.

Thanks for enjoying the series!

'Grosgrainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01708175838803992833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616157712190875587.post-19946376226593418262012-07-31T22:45:51.041-04:002012-07-31T22:45:51.041-04:00I tried the heat gun to set the ribbon in curls, y...I tried the heat gun to set the ribbon in curls, yes it works! I wasn't clear on the instructions for how long the curled ribbon should be, so for anyone who has my thinking skills, it's 7" of ribbon AFTER it's curled. Found that out the hard way with the Rapunzel one! I kind of wish the instructions gave an approximate length of the ribbon before you curl it. Also, just FYI, theCaryn Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10963011530913848916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616157712190875587.post-76748487370269921922012-07-31T12:44:19.383-04:002012-07-31T12:44:19.383-04:00@saras3/8"ths@saras3/8"thsGrosgrainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01708175838803992833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4616157712190875587.post-33398343046090511902012-07-31T12:37:08.779-04:002012-07-31T12:37:08.779-04:00What width of ribbon are u using? What width of ribbon are u using?sarashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15291700475756292538noreply@blogger.com
