Like all my other babies, I love to clothe Eloise in dresses and matching two pieces. If you also have a little baby in your life that you love to show off you must take a look at today's guest: The Cuppycake Boutique.
The winner of this giveaway will receive the bubble dress pictured to the left in the size of their choosing.
Courtney, the creator of The Cuppycake Boutique is a stay at home mom to her baby boy and a student. She enjoys making cute children's clothing at an affordable price and sharing her creations with others.
Courtney began making childrens' clothing fairly recently. She was trying to decide what to get her dear friend's little girl for her birthday and decided that she would make her a pillowcase dress. After making the dress she realized how much she liked it so she decided to make more and people liked them so much that they wanted to buy what she was making.
So CuppyCake Boutique was born and since then she has added more than just pillowcase dresses. Her line now consists of dresses, outfits, appliqued shirts as well as boy clothing for that little man in you life.
When she completes school next year, she would love to be able to continuing staying home with her son and future children and have her business continue growing.

I'm so glad large feminine hair accessories are in again! Were they ever out? At any rate, they make the PERFECT accessory to lighten up a dress, cardigan and belt.
Bethany of Milk Money (love that name) is offering a $30 gift card to one lucky Grosgrain reader.
Her items are totally fashionable but totally affordable. My favorite is to the left. I'd love to pair this with a mustard yellow cardigan and red belt across the outside. You'd totally show up everyone else:)
Bethany had been dreaming about starting her own business for years. She is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, where she completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees in American Studies. She currently works full time but dreams of turning her love of crafting and creating into a career!
Her mother and grandmothers have influenced her love of handmade goods by teaching her the value of craftsmanship and creativity. She started Milk Money because she wanted to join the handmade movement on a bigger scale than simply giving handmade gifts. She hopes you get as much enjoyment out of her goods as she does!
To kick off her shop, she is focusing on contemporary and vintage earring studs and felt headbands. She would like to one day explore other materials as well. She would describe her personal style as simple and clean with a few standout pieces. She thinks accessories are a great addition to any outfit to really punch it up and make it unique.
A few of her favorite things are her pets, Entenmann’s donuts, the color brown, avocados, tea tumblers, snow days, reality tv, spending time with family, the smell of spring, and of course earring studs and headbands!
Upon check-out, indicate how you found Bethany's shop and in your shipped package, you will receive a 20% off coupon for your next entire purchase! And check out Bethany at her blog www.milkmoneyshop.wordpress.com
where she talks about crafting and creating with a side of life.

For silly reasons beyond our control Brian and I have waited until last Sunday to exchange Christmas Gifts. This is the longest we've ever waited. One year we exchanged them on Valentine's Day.
But when I saw him carrying his big gift down from upstairs I was a little worried. It looked A LOT like my big gift to him. To make matters worse it turned out that we both bought each other the "Touch'n'Brush".
But when I ripped the paper off of my gift I was happily surprised to discover a YUDU MACHINE! So cool. And definitely NOT a carpet steam cleaner (which is what I bought him, aren't we romantic).
I can't wait to tell you all about it. But first I have to go buy a blank tee-shirt. I read that the emulsion sheets used to create each design are $10 each, which to me, makes the yudu totally cost prohibitive. But I've discovered a possible hack to avoid such gratuitous costs. If it all works I will let you know.
In the meantime, take a look at another really cool hack! You know those fabric sheets you can buy if you want to make fabric designs and photos from your home printer? Well, Beckie of Infarrantly Creative has created a home remedy way to make your own printable fabric with items from your pantry. Great for a gift to a crafty friend as well. Check it out!
Does anyone else know of any fabric hacks to save some extra cash?

I love love love vintage clothing. I've always wanted to start a little vintage clothing etsy shop. Having a financial obligation to look through thrift store racks sounds like the life for me:)
Veronica of Some Like It Vintage is living that life. Her online store is PACKED with hundreds of vintage items from the past few decades. All deliciously vintage.
She is offering a $50 Gift Card to her store to one lucky Grosgrain winner.
One of my favorites from her site was this retro bronze satin gown.
Unlike other Vintage Shops, their garments are re-designed and re-constructed to extend them a second life. Reconstruction involves the re-working of a vintage garment (that was otherwise not wearable) to make it once again wearable. Putting an urban and modern feel to a vintage garment while maintaining its history is another way to reduce waste.
Vintage clothing by default, is eco-friendly. Vintage is not new, but it is used clothing. Some Like it Vintage, is committed to our environment by stressing the importance of recycling and using little or no energy resources. Bio-degradable products are also used in their cleaning processes.
Their items are carefully chosen to incorporate function, practicality, wearability -- and of course high style. Says Veronica, "The quality of vintage clothing often surpasses anything made today and not only is it environmentally friendly, it is a fun and unique way to shop!"

I look forward to looking through this.
Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia of Sewing and Fabric Crafts: Basic Techniques for Sewing, Applique, Embroidery, Quilting, Dyeing, and Printing, plus 150 Inspired Projects from A to Z.
It is described as encyclopedic in scope. Sounds great! The book features two main parts to help you brush up on the basics and take your skills to a new level.
First, the Techniques section guides readers through Sewing, Appliqué, Embroidery, Quilting, Dyeing, and Printing. Following that, the Projects A to Z section features more than 150 clever ideas (including many no-sew projects), all illustrated and explained with the clear, detailed instructions that have become a signature of Martha Stewart’s magazines, books, and television shows.
An enclosed CD includes full-size clothing patterns as well as templates that can be easily produced on a home printer.
The projects are as delightful as they are imaginative, and include classic Roman shades, hand-drawn stuffed animals, an easy upholstered blanket chest, a quilted crib bumper, French knot-embellished pillowcases and sheets, and Japanese-embroidered table linens, among many others. With gorgeous color photographs as well as expert instruction, this handy guide will surely encourage beginners and keep sewers and crafters of all experience levels wonderfully busy for many years to come.

And just because you're not a woman doesn't mean you can't sport an apron! Check out their mens, and childrens aprons.
Flirty Aprons was founded by two married couples: Joseph and Heather Hansen, and Spencer and Jamie Taylor. When the owners initially met they discovered they each had a strong passion for business. They knew that their partnership would be enriched with a variety of skills that would allow them to create a successful and enjoyable business.
Heather Hansen grew up in Provo, Utah for most of her life. Spending five years in the modeling industry, Heather quickly gained a love for fashion and design. Shortly after leaving the fashion industry, Heather started her college career at Brigham Young University. Her education in Marriage Development helped her realize that she truly loved to work with people. Heather met and married her loving husband Joseph Hansen in 2006. With her degree from BYU, her love for fashion and her love for people, and with the support of her husband, Heather started her adventure with Flirty Aprons. As the Chief Marketing Officer, Heather has the opportunity to create and oversee much of the company's apron designs and fabrics. Heather is always looking forward to working on the company's advances in advertising and loves to bring quality customer service to all those she comes in contact with.
Joseph Hansen was born and raised in Colorado. He attended Brigham Young University and earned a bachelor's of science in Exercise Science. Joe's past schooling and business experience include areas such as accounting, marketing, statistics, entrepreneurship, and communications. He believes that small businesses should be a force for good in the community by creating good opportunities for the owners, the employees, and the consumers. As the Chief Executive Officer, he has the opportunity to oversee the marketing, operations, and finances of the business.
His vision for Flirty Aprons includes fostering a workforce that is highly competent and generously rewarded for their hard work and innovation. This vision ultimately gives Flirty Aprons the ability to deliver a high quality product to women everywhere that helps them to find better self-expression and greater excitement in their day-to-day activities.
Jamie Taylor grew up in Porterville, California and moved to Utah in 1997 to go to college at Brigham Young University. After switching majors three times, she found her passion in studying the behaviors of people. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2003. Shortly thereafter, she met and married Spencer Taylor. They currently have one child. Jamie uses her talents of interacting with people, creating designs, and solving problems by serving as the company's Chief Operations Officer. Among other responsibilities, Jamie oversees the production of Flirty Apron's products and designs apron patterns.
Spencer Taylor is native to Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from high school in 2001, he donated two years of service as a missionary and teacher in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He regards his time with the people of Brazil as precious and educational. There he learned and grew much, gaining a profound respect for the liberties that Americans enjoy. He returned and began studying at Brigham Young University.
He met his true love Jamie in 2004, and they were married in the spring of the following year. After a lot searching and study, he found an academic passion in the field of economics. He was awarded a BA in Economics in December of 2007. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President, Spencer enjoys playing an active role in shaping and guiding the company as it seeks to re-think what a business can be in today's society.
The owners of Flirty Aprons have loved working together in this exciting business, and they want each customer to know how much they are appreciated for making this happen. Please let us know if you have any questions or comments by visiting the Contact Us page.
